What do they check during a physical for teens joining sports?

My boyfriend says they check the genitals but my mom and friends say other wise. I don’t thnk they would check that before joining sports. Don’t they just check your vision, blood pressure/pulse and things like that?

    Sports this is one of those rare times we females get off easier at the docotors.
